Hyderabad: A gang of burglars created havoc in Inanguda under Abdullapurmet on the city outskirts late Saturday night, targeting three real estate offices and a residence.
Police said the thieves broke open locks to enter the offices, vandalising property and scattering furniture and documents. They damaged an Innova car parked on the premises, along with office computers, printers, and other equipment.
In addition to ransacking the offices, the gang burgled a nearby house and reportedly took another car from the locality for a joyride. Preliminary estimates put the stolen cash at around ₹30,000.
Following complaints from victims, police registered a case and began an investigation. Officers visited the scene, collected clues, and reviewed CCTV footage from nearby cameras. Search operations to trace the suspects were underway.
