Hyderabad: Two brothers sustained serious injuries when an RTC bus from Vikarabad depot rammed into their two-wheeler at the court crossroads in Parigi town on Friday.
The victims, identified as Ananthayya and Mahender from Warwal village in Kotpally mandal, were on their way to Parigi to purchase turmeric from the local market.
According to eyewitnesses, the bus collided with the motorcycle, throwing the brothers onto the road. Locals rushed to their aid and shifted them to the government hospital for treatment.
Since the incident occurred during peak market hours, it led to traffic congestion at the junction.
