HANAMKONDA: An RTC bus overturned near Chintagattu Ring Road in Hasanparthy mandal of Hanamkonda district early on Tuesday morning, leaving five passengers seriously injured and 15 others with minor injuries.
Police said the accident occurred around 3:30 am when the bus, which was travelling from Ongole to Adilabad, lost control and overturned. Upon receiving information, police rushed to the spot and launched rescue operations.
The injured passengers were immediately shifted to the MGM Hospital in Warangal for treatment.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the mishap, while further details are awaited.
