Hyderabad: Newly appointed Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) Y. Nagi Reddy conducted an inspection of key bus stations in Hyderabad on Friday.
He visited Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station (MGBS) and Jubilee Bus Station (JBS) to assess passenger amenities. Reddy directed officials to improve cleanliness, ensure drinking water supply, maintain toilets and seating, and enhance security at the premises.
He also checked electric bus charging stations and reviewed logistics counters. During the inspection, he boarded several buses to evaluate cleanliness, seating, and mechanical condition. He spoke with passengers to gather direct feedback on the services.
Reddy stressed the need for better coordination among departments to upgrade facilities and expand services. He instructed officials to act swiftly on service improvement plans.
Senior officers, including Executive Directors Muni Shekhar, Venkanna, Khusrosha Khan, CTM Sridhar, and Ranga Reddy RM Srilatha, accompanied him during the visit.
