Hyderabad: A fire broke out at a scrap godown in Sadath Nagar on Wednesday evening, prompting a rapid response from the Balapur Police in Hyderabad. Officers moved to the spot soon after receiving the alert and coordinated with firefighters to contain the flames. Moreover, they cleared the narrow lane leading to the godown to ensure smooth access for emergency vehicles.

Two fire engines from Chandrayangutta and Moghalpura reached the location because the scrap yard stored flammable material. Furthermore, firefighters used continuous water streams and brought the blaze under control after extended efforts. They confirmed that the fire damaged the scrap stock and repair equipment, yet the incident caused no injuries.
Balapur Police launched an investigation immediately.
