Sajjanar rides TGSRTC bus on final day as MD

Hyderabad: On his final day as managing director of Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC), senior IPS officer V.C. Sajjanar chose to mark the occasion by travelling on a city bus. He said the gesture reflected his deep attachment to public transport.

The outgoing MD boarded a 113 I/M route bus at Lakdikapul–Telephone Bhavan stop and travelled to the RTC Bus Bhavan. He purchased his ticket using UPI payment and received it from the conductor like a regular passenger.

During the journey, Sajjanar spoke with fellow passengers and enquired about their travel experiences. Officials said he wanted to end his tenure by personally connecting with bus users.

సాధారణ ప్రయాణికుడిలా లక్డీకాపుల్-టెలిఫోన్ భవన్ బస్టాండ్ నుంచి బస్ భవన్ వరకు 113 I/M రూట్ బస్సులో ప్రయాణించారు.
