Hyderabad: Sangareddy police arrested four peddlers and seized 128 kg of dry ganja at Pati Crossroads under BDL-Bhanur police station limits on Sunday. They also confiscated two vehicles used to transport the contraband.
BDL-Bhanur police and the Special Narcotics Assistance Bureau (S-NAB) Sangareddy conducted the joint operation. Based on specific inputs, teams led by Inspectors Vijay Krishna and Nageshwar Rao stopped the vehicles at Pati Junction and took the suspects into custody.

Superintendent of Police Paritosh Pankaj said the gang was smuggling ganja from Odisha to Maharashtra. Police identified the arrested men as Feroz Ahmed, Sagar Nayak, Mehaboob Abdul Ahmed, and Mohammad Irfan.
The SP stated that officers would produce the accused in court. He warned that police would intensify action against narcotics networks. Urging public cooperation, he asked citizens to report suspicious activity to S-NAB at 8712656777. He assured that the police would protect the identity of informants.
