HYDERABAD: A school bus belonging to a private institution in Jeedimetla overturned near Dairy Farm Road in Bowenpally, Secunderabad, on Saturday. The incident occurred when the bus driver attempted to avoid a truck, leading to a loss of control and a collision with a road divider, according to Bowenpally CI Lakshminarayana Reddy.
The accident took place while the bus was returning from the school after dropping off students. Fortunately, there were no students on board at the time, preventing a major mishap.
Upon receiving information, Bowenpally police rushed to the spot and cleared the overturned bus from the road to restore normal traffic flow. Authorities confirmed that the bus cleaner sustained minor injuries in the incident.
The police have taken up further investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident.
