Hyderabad: In a warm gesture that cut across party lines, Telangana minister Seethakka marked Raksha Bandhan by tying rakhis to several prominent leaders in the state. The simple ritual doubled as a reminder that personal ties can outlast political divides. She visited Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s residence, where she tied rakhis to him and his grandson, extending festival greetings alongside the CM’s wife and daughter.

At Praja Bhavan, Seethakka tied a rakhi to Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka. At the ministerial quarters, she tied rakhis to Minister Ponnam Prabhakar and his brothers, receiving a saree in return from Prabhakar, who also sought her blessings.
She then tied a rakhi to Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar, who thanked her warmly, addressing her as a sister.
At the ministers’ residential complex, Seethakka tied a rakhi to Roads, Buildings, and Cinematography Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy. The two exchanged sweets, with Venkat Reddy remarking that she was like his own sister.
With those rakhis, Seethakka not only strengthened her bond with senior leaders but also carried the festival’s spirit across Telangana’s political spectrum.
