Hyderabad: A fresh spell of severe thunderstorms is expected to sweep through Hyderabad’s western and southern suburbs within the next two hours, according to an alert issued by a prominent weather monitoring source.
Storm systems have already formed over areas including Shamshabad, Aramghar, Chandrayangutta, and Pahadi Sharif. These cells are anticipated to move towards Attapur, Rajendranagar, Tolichowki, Shaikpet, and Mehdipatnam, bringing heavy rainfall and potential disruptions.
Neighbourhoods such as Langer House, Narsingi, Bandlaguda Jagir, and Nanakramguda are also on alert, as are the IT and residential hubs of Gachibowli and Kondapur. The warning extends further to Serilingampally, Patancheru, BHEL, Madinaguda, and Miyapur.
Authorities and residents have been advised to take precautions against possible waterlogging, traffic congestion, and short-term power interruptions due to the expected weather conditions.
