Failed attempt to rob ATM in Shamshabad under RGI police limits

HYDERABAD: An attempt to rob an ATM under the jurisdiction of the RGI Police Station in Shamshabad was foiled early on Sunday morning.

The incident occurred around 5 a.m. near the bus stand, where unidentified thieves entered the premises of a South Indian Bank ATM. They damaged CCTV cameras and alarm wires in an effort to disable security systems and attempted to cut open the ATM machine, but failed to access the cash.

Following the unsuccessful attempt, the suspects fled the scene. Upon receiving the information, police arrived promptly along with a Clues Team to collect evidence. A case has been registered based on a complaint filed by the bank officials, and efforts are underway to identify and apprehend the culprits.
