Hyderabad: A 38-year-old labourer died and another man was injured in a fatal road accident reported by Shamshabad Police on Tuesday. The accident occurred when a speeding crane hit a motorcycle near Palmakul village, Ranga Reddy district.
Shamshabad fatal road accident kills one, injures another
The deceased, Chitti Babu, hailed from Madanapally Patha Thanda village in Shamshabad mandal. According to the complaint filed by his wife Vadthiya Swapna, he was riding pillion with two friends—Shankar (rider) and Raju—on a Honda Shine bike (TS07GB4414). They were travelling from Spring Land Dhaba towards Palmakul when a crane (TS08JV6853) rammed their bike from behind.
Chitti Babu suffered severe head injuries in the fall and died on the spot. Raju, who sat in the middle, sustained multiple injuries to his head, face, left hand, and right leg. He is currently undergoing treatment at Arkan Hospital in Shamshabad.
Driver identified as Vinod KR Yadav in Shamshabad fatal road accident
Police identified the crane driver as Vinod KR Yadav. A case has been registered under relevant sections, and legal action is underway.
Shamshabad Inspector K. Narender Reddy confirmed the investigation is ongoing.
