Hyderabad: The Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) has issued orders to regularise 1,258 Badili workers as general assistant category-1 employees across various mining divisions. Workers who completed the required muster days by December 31, 2024, will be included in this regularisation process.
Singareni Badili workers regularisation follows union agreement
Eligible workers must have completed 190 musters in underground mines or 240 in open cast or surface operations, along with one year of service. The decision followed discussions between SCCL Chairman and Managing Director N. Balram, Director (Personnel) Goutham Potru, and the recognised Singareni Collieries Workers Union.
Following the agreement, the General Manager (Personnel), IR&PM, issued circulars to area heads to process the proposals for regularisation.
Area-wise distribution of Singareni Badili workers regularised
The regularisation includes:
- 303 in Ramagundam-2
- 250 in Bhupalpalli
- 241 in Srirampur
- 167 in Ramagundam-3 & Adriyala
- 156 in Ramagundam-1
- 64 in Mandamarri
- 21 in the corporate area
- 20 in Kothagudem
- 19 in Manuguru
- 11 in Bellampalli
- 6 in Yellandu
These workers will be designated as general assistant category-1 employees.
