Six more die of heatstroke in Telangana as temperatures soar

HYDERABAD: The death toll due to heatstroke in Telangana continues to rise, with six more fatalities reported as people struggle to cope with the extreme temperatures.

Two deaths were recorded in Karimnagar district, one in Jagityal, two in Khammam, and one in Peddapalli district. Victims reportedly succumbed to the relentless heat.

Residents expressed their anguish, stating that the government had failed to disseminate adequate awareness or precautionary information regarding the intense heat conditions. With temperatures showing no signs of easing, concerns over public health and safety are mounting across the state.
