Hyderabad: An armed gang targets homes and jewellery store in Hyderabad in two back-to-back robberies on Tuesday morning. Six men first struck Kukatpally, entering two houses and threatening older residents before escaping with ₹2 lakh in cash and gold ornaments. They also burgled another nearby house.
Around 10:30 a.m., the same group raided Khazana Jewellery in Chandanagar while staff processed a pledge transaction. One assailant shot assistant manager Satish in the leg, sending staff fleeing in panic. The gang grabbed silver items and fled. Satish was rushed to a private hospital for treatment.
Police teams reached the store, collected forensic evidence, and began reviewing CCTV footage to identify the attackers. Initial leads indicated the gang fled towards Zaheerabad. District border police launched search operations to catch them.
