Hyderabad: Excise officials raided a farmhouse near Moinabad late Saturday night, disrupting a drug-fueled birthday party and arresting six IT professionals in connection with possession and consumption of narcotics.
The raid, conducted by the Excise Task Force around midnight on August 2, followed credible intelligence about a planned drug party hosted by tech workers celebrating a friend’s birthday. Officers found LSD blots, hash oil, and multiple liquor bottles at the scene.

Officials said the group sourced the narcotics from Himachal Pradesh and transported them to Hyderabad for the party. Alongside the arrests, police also impounded three high-end vehicles belonging to the accused.
All six individuals have been taken into custody, and a case has been registered under relevant sections of the NDPS Act. Further investigation is underway to trace supply routes and additional participants.
