Hyderabad: In a jaw-dropping bid for internet fame, a young man’s reckless stunt on active railway tracks has sparked outrage – and a strong response from Telangana State RTC Managing Director V.C. Sajjanar.
A video of the incident, now widely circulated online, shows the man lying face-down between the tracks as a train hurtles over him. He covers his ears, braces for impact, and then slowly rises once the train has passed, looking pleased with himself, as though he’s just pulled off something heroic.
But Sajjanar wasn’t impressed. In fact, he called the act “sheer madness” and blasted the growing obsession with dangerous social media stunts.
“Is it worth risking your life for a few views and likes?” he asked. “You might find it thrilling, but what if something goes catastrophically wrong? “These aren’t achievements—they’re warnings. And we shouldn’t be applauding them,” he said.
The message is clear: no video is worth a life. And what some see as daring, others see for what it truly is – an unnecessary risk with potentially tragic consequences.
