Hyderabad: South Zone police conducted a flag march on Monday evening in Chatrinaka division as part of security arrangements for the upcoming Ganesh festival.

The march was carried out with personnel from the Rapid Action Force (RAF) and local police units. It covered areas falling under Shalibanda, Moghalpura, and Chatrinaka police stations. Officials said the march aimed to instil public confidence and ensure preparedness ahead of the festival processions.
DCP urges early processions, no loud music
After the march, South Zone DCP Smt. Sneha Mehra, IPS, stressed the need for early area domination measures to maintain safety and prevent disturbances. She said this would help provide a peaceful atmosphere for devotees.
The DCP appealed to devotees to begin their processions early and advised against playing loud music, including DJs, during processions to ensure smooth and secure celebrations.
