Hyderabad: IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu has invited Indian-origin CEOs in Australia to invest in Telangana under the ‘Rising Telangana’ initiative, highlighting opportunities across advanced and emerging sectors.
Speaking at a business conclave in Sydney organised by The Centre for Australia–India Relations, Sridhar Babu outlined investment prospects in Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, Machine Learning, Gaming, Animation, VFX, Semiconductors, Aerospace, Defence, Advanced Manufacturing, Green Energy, and Electric Vehicles.
He said Telangana offers strong economic growth, top-tier infrastructure, and transparent governance. The Minister assured full facilitation for companies planning to enter or expand within the state.

Presenting Telangana’s industrial profile, Sridhar Babu showcased the state’s single-window clearance system, TG-iPASS, along with progressive industrial policies and a robust innovation ecosystem that supports both large-scale manufacturing and startups.
The conclave brought together key figures including Swati Dave, Chairperson of The Centre for Australia–India Relations; Irfan Malik, National Associate Chairman of the Australia–India Business Council; Sourav Banerjee, Director of ETPL; and other business leaders and officials.
The Minister positioned Telangana as a ready platform for global partnerships in future-focused industries.
