In FY 2024–25, Telangana recorded a Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) growth rate of 8.2 percent, outpacing the national average. Over the past 18 months, the State attracted investments worth ₹3.28 lakh crore across key sectors, including life sciences, electric vehicles, aerospace, artificial intelligence, logistics, and renewable energy.
Sridhar Babu said major global companies such as Eli Lilly have already chosen Telangana as their investment hub. He noted that UAE-based investors alone have committed over ₹2,000 crore, underlining the growing trade relationship between Telangana and Dubai.
The Minister described investors as long-term development partners rather than mere commercial participants. He said Telangana offers significant opportunities in areas like AI, cybersecurity, fintech, digital infrastructure, smart mobility, clean energy, food processing, and defence manufacturing.
He assured complete support from the State government for facilitating investment partnerships and urged international stakeholders to contribute to Telangana’s innovation-led industrial future.
