Hyderabad: Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu said he wanted every student in Manthani constituency to study in English medium and gain fluency. He noted that this would help them pursue higher education and succeed in their chosen careers.
On Friday, the minister inaugurated the KGBV Junior College building at Mahamuttaram mandal, constructed at a cost of ₹2.3 crore. Speaking at the event, Sridhar Babu urged students to stand on their own feet. He said education in every village would bring overall progress to the community. He added that an educated society would strengthen both the state and the nation.

The minister announced laptops for KGBV students through the T-Fiber network. He said the government had completed teacher recruitment and filled vacant posts in schools. Moreover, he pointed out that Gurukul students would now benefit from higher cosmetic charges to improve facilities.
Later, Sridhar Babu launched several works in different villages. He laid foundations for internal roads worth ₹70 lakh and anganwadi buildings costing ₹72 lakh. In addition, he initiated the construction of gram panchayat offices in seven villages at a combined cost of ₹1.4 crore.
Trade Promotion Chairman Ayitha Prakash Reddy, EGS State Council Member Dandu Ramesh, District Library Corporation Chairman Kota Raja Bapu, Collector Rahul Sharma, Sub-Collector Mayank Singh, Additional Collector Vijaya Lakshmi, Market Committee Chairman Panthagani Nirmala Sammaiah, and other officials joined the programme. A large number of villagers also participated.
