Hyderabad: Telangana IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu has been named in Analytics India Magazine’s “India’s 100 Most Influential People in AI–2025” list, released on August 11.
The annual list honours leaders shaping India’s AI ecosystem through policy, governance, and innovation. Names are presented alphabetically within categories, not as rankings.

Sridhar Babu features in the policy makers category alongside Aakrit Vaish, advisor to the IndiaAI Mission; Abhishek Singh, CEO of the IndiaAI Mission and DG of NIC; Amitabh Kant, former NITI Aayog CEO; Ashwini Vaishnaw, Union IT Minister; Debjani Ghosh, former NASSCOM president; Dilip Asbe, NPCI CEO; Piyush Goyal, Union Commerce Minister; and Rajeev Chandrasekhar, former Union MoS for Electronics and IT.
His inclusion highlights Telangana’s growing role in AI-driven governance. The state has positioned itself as a frontrunner in applying AI to public service delivery and inclusive growth.
