HYDERABAD: Minister Sridhar Babu launched a sharp counterattack on BJP leader Bandi Sanjay over his recent comments on the Ramzan gift scheme. Speaking at Gandhi Bhavan, Sridhar Babu questioned whether BJP and BRS had jointly given a Ramzan gift, hinting at an alleged understanding between the two parties.
He stated that Congress had already given many political blows to the BJP and promised that another one would be delivered soon. Accusing the BJP and BRS of colluding in the Graduate MLC elections, he alleged that their secret agreements are coming to light.
Sridhar Babu expressed gratitude to all the voters who supported Congress candidate Narender Reddy and acknowledged the hard work of party workers. He alleged that BRS deliberately did not field a strong candidate, indirectly aiding the BJP’s victory. He also questioned why BRS senior leader Ravinder Singh contested independently and how many votes he received.
He further pointed out that Ravinder Singh himself admitted that he had BRS’s complete support, exposing what he called a “Fevicol bond” between BJP and BRS. He concluded by stating that BRS had effectively backed BJP in the election, proving their political alignment.
