HYDERABAD: The Telangana Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations are scheduled to begin from Thursday, March 21 and will continue until April 4, 2025. This year, a total of 5,09,403 students from 11,547 schools across the state are expected to participate. To accommodate these candidates, authorities have established 2,650 examination centers.
Examinations will be conducted from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM. While students are permitted to enter examination centers until 9:35 AM, including a five-minute grace period, officials strongly advise arriving by 8:30 AM to account for potential traffic and weather conditions. Hall tickets have been made available on the official website, bse.telangana.gov.in, and students must carry them to gain entry to the examination hall.
To ensure smooth conduct of the examinations, a control room has been set up at the Directorate of Government Examinations office. Students or guardians with queries or issues can contact the helpline at 040-23230942. Additionally, Section 144 will be enforced around examination centers to maintain order, and nearby photocopying centers have been instructed to remain closed during examination hours.
Students are prohibited from bringing smartwatches, cell phones, or any electronic devices into the examination hall. Parents are encouraged to support their children in managing stress and ensuring punctuality.
This year marks a change in the examination pattern. Previously, SSC students faced 11 papers; however, starting this year, there will be only seven examinations. Notably, Physical Science and Biology papers will be conducted on separate days, each with a duration of one and a half hours. Students will be provided with 24-page answer booklets, printed with QR codes and thin lines, to facilitate clear and organized responses.
