Hyderabad: D. Sunil Kumar officially took charge as the new Tahsildar of Kasipet mandal in Mancherial district on Saturday. His appointment follows a routine administrative transfer. Prior to this role, he served as Superintendent at the Mancherial District Collector’s office.
The transfer replaces outgoing Tahsildar Bhojanna, who has been posted to Nirmal district. Officials said the transition is part of efforts to streamline local administration and improve service delivery at the mandal level.
Upon taking charge, Sunil Kumar was warmly welcomed at the Kasipet Tahsildar office. Local leaders and office staff extended their greetings and felicitated him with traditional honours. Among those present were Goleti Swamy, Madasu Devender, and Akkepalli Rajesh, who offered their support and wished him success in his new role.

Deputy Tahsildar Anjaiah, Revenue Assistant Kamala, and other staff members attended the welcome programme. They assured full cooperation in handling revenue, land records, and public service matters in the mandal.
