HYDERABAD: The Supreme Court has issued a notice to the Telangana government in connection with the sensational murder case of advocate couple Gattu Vamanarao and Nagamani.
The apex court has directed the state to submit all related case records within three weeks. The development comes in response to a plea seeking a CBI investigation into the murder.
The case, which triggered widespread outrage, is under scrutiny over alleged lapses in investigation and political links. The petitioners have argued that only an independent probe by the CBI can ensure justice.
