Hyderabad: District Kisan Cell president and Manthani Reddy Seva Sangham chief Musukula Surender Reddy submitted a representation to Telangana IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu, requesting funds for CC road and side drainage works in high-traffic areas of Manthani town.
Surender Reddy highlighted poor road conditions along key stretches specifically from Sri Ayyappa and Datta temples to CRK Complex, and from CRK Complex to Erukalagudem Hanuman Temple. He noted that frequent commuters and devotees were facing serious difficulties due to the damaged roads and lack of proper drainage.
He urged the minister to support the restoration of road infrastructure and construction of drains in these densely populated and religiously significant zones.
Responding promptly, Minister Sridhar Babu directed officials to draw up plans for the required works. Surender Reddy thanked the minister for his swift response and acknowledged his consistent attention to civic issues raised by Manthani residents.
