Hyderabad: Two men were killed in a road accident in Telangana’s Suryapet district on Friday. The crash occurred near Bandararam in Tungaturthi mandal when a motorcycle lost control and rammed into a roadside cement block.
The deceased were identified as Vemula Nagaraju (26) and Vemula Karthik (24), both residents of Malipuram in Tirumalagiri mandal. Police said the victims died on the spot due to the impact.
Nagaraju was serving as a constable in Hyderabad, according to preliminary reports. The incident cast a pall of gloom over their native village.
