Hyderabad: The Telangana Aarogyasri Network Hospitals Association (TANHA) on Friday night announced that it would withdraw its protests and resume Aarogyasri healthcare services across the state. The decision followed talks with Health Minister Damodar Raja Narasimha and senior officials.
TANHA withdraws protest after talks
Health Minister Damodar Raja Narasimha met TANHA representatives in Hyderabad. Aarogyasri Health Care Trust CEO P. Uday Kumar and other senior officials joined the meeting. After the discussions, TANHA leaders said the government agreed to resolve both financial and non-financial issues.
Services resume across Telangana
TANHA members said the minister personally assured them of immediate action. They noted that he gave directions on the spot to address their concerns. “In view of the positive progress in our discussions and respecting the wishes of our Health Minister, we are resuming all our services, Aarogyasri, EHS, and JHS, across Telangana,” they said.
The association apologised directly to patients for the inconvenience caused during the protest.
