Hyderabad: A software employee from Maharashtra died by suicide at her residence in Hyderabad’s Nallagandla locality after repeated quarrels with her husband.
The deceased, identified as Aruna (30), was originally from Kolhapur. She had married Nilesh Patil, also a software professional, in 2023. The couple had moved to Hyderabad for work and were living in the Chandanagar area.
According to police, Aruna had been under emotional distress due to frequent arguments with her husband. On Tuesday, she was found dead in her room, having hanged herself from a ceiling fan using a chunni.
Initial inquiry suggests the suicide was linked to ongoing domestic discord. Police are continuing with the investigation.
