Hyderabad: A tense scene unfolded Sunday morning at the Peerzadiguda office of Teenmar Mallanna (Chintapandu Naveen), when a group of unidentified men barged in and began damaging property – furniture overturned, computer equipment smashed.
Staff from Q News were inside when it happened and tried to stop them. That led to a physical confrontation—some were reportedly assaulted in the scuffle. Then came the gunfire: security personnel assigned to Mallanna allegedly fired five shots into the air to disperse the attackers.
Police from Medipally station showed up shortly after and began piecing together what happened. No arrests yet. No official word on motive either.
The attack was allegedly carried out by the activists of Telangana Jagruthi in retaliation to the recent comments Mallanna made about MLC K. Kavitha.
