Hyderabad: The School Education Department has decided to distribute the Telangana academic calendar to all government schools and offices. In a circular issued on Saturday, Director of School Education Naveen Nicholas instructed schools, DEO offices, and district collectorates to display the calendars prominently.
The department noted that the calendar already lists several academic and co-curricular programmes, but most remain only on paper. Teachers usually know these details, while students rarely get full information. To close this gap, the department printed the Telangana academic calendar as a wall display so that everyone can see the information clearly.
Calendar to make schedules visible for students and parents
The calendar shows monthly programmes, examinations, and holidays. Officials said the move will help students and parents track schedules easily. By making the calendar visible in schools and offices, the department aims to improve participation in academic events and reduce confusion about holidays.
