Hyderabad: Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) booked a case against Ambedkar Erugu, assistant divisional engineer (operations) with TGS PDCL, Ibrahim Bagh. Officials said he held assets disproportionate to his known income.
ACB searched 11 locations linked to Ambedkar and his relatives. They found a house, a G+5 building, and two open plots in Hyderabad. They also discovered a chemical company, Anther Chemicals, spread over 10 acres in Penpahad, Suryapet district. In addition, officials seized two cars, gold jewellery, and ₹2.18 crore in cash. The case is under investigation.

Officials appealed to the public to report bribe demands from government staff. Citizens can call the toll-free number 1064 or use WhatsApp (9440446106). They may also contact ACB via Facebook (Telangana ACB), X (@TelanganaACB), or the website acb.telangana.gov.in.
Authorities assured that the complainants’ details will remain confidential.
