Hyderabad: The Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau has registered a case against Yelagandula Bhavani, Deputy Tahsildar at the Mulugu Mandal Tahsildar Office in Siddipet district, for allegedly demanding a bribe of ₹2 lakh from a complainant.
According to ACB officials, the bribe was solicited for processing an application to issue a Pattadar Passbook in the name of the complainant’s relative. The demand was formally recorded, and a case has been filed under anti-corruption statutes.
The ACB reiterated its appeal to the public to report any instances of bribery. Citizens can contact the bureau via toll-free number 1064, WhatsApp at 9440446106, or through social media and the official ACB Telangana website. Complainant identities will be kept confidential.
