Warangal In-Charge Minister and I&PR Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, along with Panchayat Raj Minister Dhanasari Anasuya (Seethakka), inspected the works on Monday. During the visit, they reviewed progress with district officials and discussed deadlines to accelerate construction.
Ponguleti explained that Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy recently sanctioned ₹101 crore for the project. Out of this, tenders worth ₹71 crore are already in progress. When combined with the earlier ₹150 crore, the total funding now stands at ₹251 crore. The Minister emphasised that the government will use Medaram Jatara funds effectively to avoid any waste. Furthermore, new infrastructure such as roads, sanitation systems, and public amenities will benefit both tribal and non-tribal devotees who worship Sammakka and Saralamma.
He instructed the District Collector and Superintendent of Police to complete all works within 50 days. Moreover, he said Minister Seethakka would personally monitor progress while officials incorporate feedback from devotees and local representatives.
