Hyderabad: The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) sanctioned ₹10,802.16 lakhs for the construction, modernisation, and upgradation of 30 bus stations and depots across the state. The projects include new depots, facelifts, renovations, and CC pavements.
The sanction covers key stations at Mahabubnagar, Nizamabad, Palvancha, Vemulawada, Wanaparthy, Godavarikhani, Husnabad, and Kollapur. The plan also lists works at Madgul, Nagarkurnool, Regonda, Gangadhara, Ghanpur, Munugodu, Marriguda, and Chandur.
TGSRTC bus station projects across 30 locations
The upgrades extend to Narsampet Station, which will get a ground and first-floor shopping complex, and Nekkonda Bus Station, which will also house a shopping complex. The works further include Jeeza, Pebbar, Dammapeta, Aswaraopeta, Kathalapur, Gudur, Valigonda, Mandallapally, and several others.
Officials directed the Civil Engineering Department to start work immediately. They said the initiative will enhance passenger amenities and strengthen transport infrastructure across Telangana.
