HYDERABAD: The Telangana Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, convened to discuss and approve several key decisions. The SC Classification Bill received Cabinet approval, with the CM directing officials to refine the draft to avoid legal hurdles. Discussions also covered the upcoming budget session, bills to be introduced, and amendments related to the Yadagirigutta temple endowment board.

The Cabinet meeting, held at the Secretariat, lasted for several hours. The ministers finalized that the Telangana Assembly Budget Sessions will commence on March 12 and continue until March 27. Additionally, the Cabinet approved large-scale job notifications to address employment needs across the state.
As part of the employment drive, the Cabinet sanctioned 10,950 Village Level Officer (VLO) posts. Furthermore, 217 new posts were approved for new revenue divisions and mandals, and 55 posts were sanctioned for district courts across 10 districts.

The Cabinet also decided to implement the Bhoobharathi land records system from Ugadi and form a special committee on river water management. Meanwhile, discussions were held on the BC Reservation Bill, which is set to be introduced in the Assembly and later taken to Parliament for legal validation. The state government is planning to conduct local elections and issue job notifications based on the new BC reservation framework once it gains legal approval.
