Hyderabad: The Telangana cabinet will convene on August 25 under the chairmanship of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy at Dr B.R. Ambedkar Secretariat. The agenda includes reviewing the report of the Justice P.C. Ghose Commission on alleged irregularities in the Kaleshwaram irrigation project.
According to sources, the cabinet will finalise dates for presenting the commission’s findings in the state assembly. The state government had earlier informed the High Court that further action would follow only after the report is tabled in the House.

With the Ganesh festival approaching, the assembly session is expected to be convened after the celebrations conclude. The report’s presentation timeline is likely to be determined during the cabinet discussion.
The meeting is also expected to cover preparations for upcoming municipal and local body elections, which are pending due to reservation-related legal and administrative issues.
