Hyderabad: The Telangana CID arrested eight individuals in a coordinated crackdown on illegal betting operations spanning Punjab, Gujarat, and Rajasthan. The arrests were part of a high-level investigation into six unlicensed betting apps.
Officials said those detained were operating Telugu 365, Andhra 365, Yes 365, Taza 007, VL Book, and Fire Play Live. The apps were being used to facilitate online betting activities across multiple states.
Hardware seized in Telangana CID betting apps case raids
During the raids, CID teams seized several high-capacity hardware devices containing large volumes of data. Authorities said this data could be crucial to tracing the network’s operations and funding sources.
The CID confirmed that efforts are ongoing to track down the primary accused, who are reportedly based outside India.
