HYDERABAD: Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy extended birthday greetings to former Chief Minister and Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) chief K Chandrashekar Rao on his 71st birthday on Monday.
Taking to social media, Revanth Reddy conveyed his heartfelt wishes, addressing KCR as the legislator of the Gajwel constituency and former Chief Minister. He expressed his hopes for KCR’s continued dedication to public service and the development of the state. Additionally, he wished him good health and longevity, praying for his well-being.
Meanwhile, the BRS party is celebrating KCR’s birthday in a grand and festive manner. Main celebrations will be held at Telangana Bhavan in Banjara Hills in Hyderabad. The event will begin with cultural performances, including traditional drum artists and tribal dance presentations. A special documentary showcasing KCR’s life and political journey will be screened. Following this, a 71-kg cake will be cut to mark the occasion.
Several social service activities are also planned in honour of KCR’s birthday. Mass tree plantations, fruit distribution, and community meals (annadanam) will be conducted across various locations. Special interfaith prayer meetings will also be organised.
