Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and other senior Telangana Congress leaders joined Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday in the Voter Adhikar Yatra underway in Bihar.
The delegation included TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud, Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, and ministers Ponnam Prabhakar, Seethakka, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, and Vakati Srihari. MP Anil Kumar Yadav and DCC president Rohin Reddy also participated. They met Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi at Paras and expressed full support for the campaign.
Telangana Congress leaders march in Bihar with Rahul Gandhi
The Congress-led INDIA bloc launched the Yatra on August 17 in Sasaram. The 1,300-kilometre march will pass through more than 20 districts over 16 days. It will end with a rally in Patna on September 1.
The party framed the initiative as a direct response to voter suppression. It described the Yatra as a fight to defend electoral rights and demand accountability in the democratic process.
