Hyderabad: Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu on Wednesday addressed the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII)’s CFO Conclave in Somajiguda, urging industry leaders to partner with the government in driving innovation, inclusion, and sustainable growth.
Calling Telangana a “paradise for investments,” the Deputy CM emphasized the state’s emergence as a hub of modernity backed by world-class infrastructure, skilled workforce, and forward-looking policies. “Hyderabad, Secunderabad, Cyberabad and soon, the Future City are engines of global investment,” he said.
Highlighting key infrastructure efforts such as the Regional Ring Road and the Musi River Rejuvenation Project, he credited Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for expanding the state’s development narrative. “The Outer Ring Road is a proven success. The RRR will unlock clusters in pharma, IT, housing, agriculture, and handlooms,” he said.
Bhatti called CFOs “strategic navigators” of corporate direction, urging them to embrace technologies like AI, analytics, and automation to make bold, transformative decisions. He stated that Telangana is already witnessing a digital shift from governance to manufacturing.
He underscored that true progress must also reflect in equitable outcomes. “Social justice, equality, and inclusivity are at the heart of our governance,” he said, detailing initiatives like:
₹200 crore Young India Integrated Residential Schools across 25-acre campuses
Ambedkar Knowledge Centres for youth skilling
₹21,000 crore farm loan waiver within three months
₹21,500 crore in interest-free loans to women’s self-help groups in year one
He declared that “economic growth and social justice are two wheels of the same chariot,” and called on industrialists to reinvest CSR funds not just in education, but also in rural and women empowerment.
Concluding, he said, “If government and industry work together, uncertainty becomes innovation. Together, we can ensure a stable, inclusive Telangana.”
CII members including Shekhar Reddy, Dr. B.V.R. Mohan Reddy, and others were present.
