Hyderabad: Telangana government has set up an emergency helpline in Telangana Bhavan in New Delhi to help citizens stranded in Nepal in the prevailing civil unrest. It was put into operation on the directives of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and aims to ensure the safety and help of the citizens from the state.
Telangana activates helpline for citizens in Nepal
Officials confirmed that no citizens from Telangana have been reported injured or missing so far. However, as a precaution, the state government is working with the Ministry of External Affairs and the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu to ensure quick assistance and arrange repatriation if needed

Telangana government urges caution
The government has urged citizens to follow only official advisories and avoid circulating or acting on unverified information. Authorities reiterated that the safety, welfare and timely support of Telangana citizens remain the highest priority during the evolving situation in Nepal.
