Hyderabad: The Telangana State Police Recruitment Board has extended the application deadline for the post of Assistant Public Prosecutor (APP) from October 5 to October 11. The decision came after candidates requested an extension, citing back-to-back holidays and difficulties in submitting applications on time.
As of Sunday, 7,183 candidates had registered on the official portal, but only 2,193 had completed their applications by 1 PM. This means just 30 percent of registered aspirants submitted their forms.
The board clarified that only advocates with a minimum of three years of practice in criminal courts across Telangana are eligible for the 118 available posts. It also advised applicants to visit http://www.tgprb.in for updated details and instructions.
APP Application Deadline: TGPRB urges applicants to submit forms without delay
The board urged eligible candidates who registered but haven’t completed submissions to act before the revised deadline. It also noted that the online application process remains active and functional.
Officials said the extension is a one-time measure to accommodate genuine candidates and avoid last-minute rushes. They warned that no further extension will be granted beyond October 11.
