Hyderabad: The Telangana State Council of Higher Education extended the deadline for the Degree Online Services Telangana (DOST) 2025–26 special phase verification. The decision followed multiple appeals from students and parents, and took into account difficulties caused by recent heavy rains, according to Council Chairman and DOST Convener Prof. V. Balakista Reddy and Collegiate Education Commissioner Devasena.
The deadline for online self-reporting by students allotted seats in the special phase moved from August 6 to August 12. Students who completed self-reporting online could report to their allotted colleges between August 6 and 12.
Special phase admissions in Telangana extended
Private unaided colleges and self-financing courses in private aided colleges will conduct spot admissions on August 13 and 14. Officials stated that the extension aimed to ensure no eligible student missed the admission process due to weather disruptions.
