HYDERABAD: The Telangana government has undertaken a substantial administrative reshuffle, transferring 21 Indian Police Service (IPS) officers to various positions across the state. Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari issued the transfer orders on Friday afternoon, aiming to bolster administrative efficiency based on performance evaluations.
The key transfers are as follows:
• Amber Kishore Jha has been appointed as the Commissioner of Police (CP) for Ramagundam.
• Sunpreet Singh takes over as the CP of Warangal.
• Sindhu Sharma assumes the role of Superintendent of Police (SP) for Intelligence.
• Rajesh Chandra is now the SP of Kamareddy.
• Sai Chaitanya has been designated as the CP of Nizamabad.
• Ghouse Alam steps in as the CP of Karimnagar.
• Akhil Mahajan becomes the SP of Adilabad.
• Rupesh is appointed as the SP of the Narcotics Bureau.
• Akshansh Yadav takes charge as the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) for Bhongir.
• Pankaj Paritosh is now the SP of Sangareddy.
• Geete Mahesh Baba Saheb assumes the position of SP for Sircilla.
• Ankit Kumar has been appointed as the DCP of Warangal.
• Bhaskar takes over as the DCP of Mancherial.
• Karunakar is now the DCP of Peddapalli.
• Shilpavalli steps in as the DCP of the Central Zone.
• Narasimha assumes the role of SP for Suryapet.
• M. Srinivasulu has been appointed as the Inspector General (IG) of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).
