Telangana government issues orders IAS transfers and FAC postings

Hyderabad: The Telangana government announced a new round of IAS transfers and additional charge postings on Wednesday. The General Administration (Special A) Department released G.O. Rt. No. 1472 on October 22, 2025, thereby revising earlier postings issued this month.

Raghunandan Rao takes charge of Revenue Department

M. Raghunandan Rao, IAS (2002), Commissioner of Commercial Taxes, took additional charge as Secretary to the Government, Revenue (Commercial Taxes & Excise) Department. He replaced Syed Ali Murtaza Rizvi, IAS (1999), who will retire voluntarily on October 31, 2025. Consequently, Rao will now oversee both tax administration and policy functions.

S. Harish assumes charge of Endowments Department

Meanwhile, S. Harish, IAS (2015), CMD of TG Genco, assumed full additional charge as Director of the Endowments Department. The move relieved Shailaja Ramaiyer, IAS (1997), from her additional responsibilities in the same department. In addition, Harish will coordinate ongoing reforms related to temple administration and endowment management.

Bhavesh Mishra moves to Mines & Geology Department

Similarly, Bhavesh Mishra, IAS (2015), Deputy Secretary in the IT, Electronics & Communications Department, took charge as Director of Mines & Geology. He succeeded Valluru Kranthi, IAS (2016), who previously held the post. Following this change, Mishra will handle mineral regulation and permit-related operations across the state.

Garima Agarwal posted as Additional Collector at Sircilla

Furthermore, Garima Agarwal, IAS (2019), became Additional Collector (Local Bodies) in Rajanna-Sircilla district. She will now manage local body administration and development initiatives in coordination with district authorities.

The orders were issued by Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao, in the name of the Governor of Telangana.
