HYDERABAD: In a significant move to strengthen the startup ecosystem, the Telangana government has signed a key Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Goiás Hub from Brazil. The agreement aims to facilitate international startup partnerships and promote innovation-driven collaboration.
Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and IT Minister D. Sridhar Babu held discussions with representatives of Goiás Hub on Tuesday at HICC, Hyderabad. Following the meeting, T-Hub Foundation CEO Sujith and Goiás State Science, Technology, and Innovation Secretary José Frederico Lyra Netto officially signed the MoU.
This agreement will provide Telangana-based startups with market access in Brazil while offering Brazilian startups opportunities in Telangana. The primary focus areas for collaboration include Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, Agri-Tech, Healthcare, Biotechnology, and Mining.
Beyond market access, both organisations will work together on capacity building, incubation, technological partnerships, and investment opportunities. The MoU is expected to strengthen ties between India’s and Brazil’s startup ecosystems, fostering greater innovation and business expansion.
