Telangana govt transfers 106 engineers amid misconduct claims

Hyderabad: Telangana govt on Tuesday transferred 106 engineers across the state, including more than 60 posted in the Hyderabad circle, following allegations of misconduct during the issuance of No Violation of Conditions (NVOCs).

Principal Secretary of the Irrigation Department Rahul Bojja issued the transfer orders, affecting officers at multiple levels, including Executive Engineers (EEs), Deputy Executive Engineers (DEEs), and Assistant Executive Engineers (AEEEs).

The reshuffle comes in response to complaints regarding arbitrary actions and favouritism by field-level staff.
