Hyderabad: The Telangana High Court on Monday reserved its verdict in the Group-1 recruitment dispute after concluding arguments before Justice N Rajeshwar Rao. Multiple petitions had challenged alleged lapses in evaluating the Group-1 main examination answer sheets, demanding a re-evaluation or, if unworkable, a fresh examination.
Justice Rajeshwar Rao had earlier stayed the appointments of candidates selected for Group-1 posts, following which the selected candidates approached the court to have the stay lifted. Counsel for the Telangana State Public Service Commission, Niranjan Reddy, defended the recruitment process as fully transparent and fair.
The court directed that any additional arguments should be submitted in writing.
